Fire safety

Fire precaution legislation is about ensuring that, in case of fire, employees and other persons in the workplaces are able to escape safely. A fire risk assessment is an essential part of any risk management process; it is legally required and must be kept up to date. • Housing Act 1985
• The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982
• The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (2005)
