Where not providing the Approved Inspector services, Oculus Building Consultancy offers Building Regulations consultancy with a team approach to design. We can assist early in the design stage by advising on Building Regulations and other technical matters to reduce abortive design work and to make the submission to the Local Authority or Approved Inspector a smoother and quicker operation. To assist in the design process we can prepare guidance notes on the requirements of the Building Regulations tailored to suit a project identifying the determining or governing factors.

We have particular expertise in producing fire strategies for buildings and can negotiate with the Building Control Body and Fire Authorities on related matters. We can also assist with the production of Access Statements, Part L and ventilation strategies.
